Bespoke Italian kitchen; glass backsplash, brushed-metal counters.
This new-construction beach house stands on a narrow lot, sandwiched between fairly tall houses on both sides. The design sweeps primary roofs down over the entry and garage (below the F.E.M.A. flood line). The owners—collectors of mid-century modern furniture—wanted very spare interiors.
Shingled piers line a slate walkway, leading past entry, towards terrace on Long Island Sound, at the back of the house.Minimalist interiors compliment mid-century modern furniture.
